HTC EVO 4G and Apple iPhone 3GS: side by side

HTC EVO 5 and iPhone 3GS

In the dawn of the Apple iPhone 4 launch, the iPhone 3GS takes on the mighty HTC EVO 4G in this epic PhoneArena video comparison. The EVO 4G is without a doubt a dreadful Android smartphone, but the iPhone 3GS clearly shows that it still has a few tricks up its sleeve.

Pantech Pursuit Review – Smart Phone for Teens

Pantech P9020 Pursuit

PhoneArena reviews the Pantech Pursuit – Pantech’s first touchscreen phone for AT&T. It’s a quite decent messaging device, thanks to the pretty nice physical QWERTY keyboard. The 2.8-inch touchscreen is resistive and although not the best there is, it’s still pretty usable and nice to watch videos on.

Android 2.2 Froyo review by PocketNow

Android 2.2 Froyo

Brian at PocketNow posted a browser comparison video showing the iPhone, the Nexus One, and the HTC HD2 all viewing the same websites. He installed Froyo on the Nexus One and downloaded the Flash beta which allows him to run almost all Flash content. It’s really long. While I do enjoy a long video of a man playing with Android phones, 11 minutes worth of a man playing with phones (found after the jump) might be a bit tiring. However, the money shot comes at about 1:40 where you see some Flash games playing in the wild.

iPhone + Android + Windows Mobile = Beautiful Music

Mobile Music Apps

This one is just too nerdy to avoid it!

Take one iPhone, one Android handset, and one Windows Mobile handset. Strap’em to a piece of wood, run a bunch of cable to a speaker. Code up a custom instrument jamming interface for each platform. What do you get?

LG Mini GD880 Review

LG mini GD880

PhoneArena reviews the LG Mini GD880 – probably the smallest phone out there with a 3.2-inch screen. The Mini has a unique boxy design, which looks great and uses some high-quality materials. The non-smart software running on the Mini looks pretty nice, but unfortunately features quite some lag, which may ruin the experience at times.
