I work for a Versadial, a company that makes telephone recording systems and it is interesting that the #2 reason for purchasing these systems is security. That is, companies wanting to deter security breaches, but the #1 reason which is related is to reduce liability. This is also security based as the recordings can be used in court to verify a verbal contract or agreement, or prove what actually was said in a conversation.
